For a patient specific benefit investigation, fax your request using the Benefit Investigation Packet to the Oncoline Reimbursement Hotline.

For patients who don't have insurance, please call the Oncoline Reimbursement Hotline directly at 800-443-6676.
Roche has established a reimbursement hotline to provide you with information relating to coding, billing, and reimbursement for XELODA. The hotline is able to help you with questions about:

Patient Insurance Verification

  • Ascertain information about specific drug coverage the patient may have for XELODA
  • Provide appropriate and accurate information on prior authorization and other payor specific coverage requirements

Coverage & Coding Services

  • Answer XELODA coding and billing questions
  • Provide guidance and up-to-date information regarding payor policies relevant to XELODA

XELODA Claim Denial and Appeals Review

  • Provide general process guidance in connection with the preparation and filing of a claim
  • Review denied claims for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide general guidance on process for appealing an appropriately denied claim

When calling the hotline for assistance please have the following information available to expedite your call:

  • Patient name
  • Insurance carrier
  • ID #, plan/group #
  • Provider ID # or provider tax ID #
  • Copy of signed patient authorization
  • PAP Privacy Release - HIPAA

What is necessary to have available when having your prescription filled?

  • Your Medicare Card
  • Any supplemental insurance such as: retiree benefit cards from your employer or plans you may have purchased to cover the difference between what Medicare covers and the percentage for which you are responsible (your co-pay.)
  • All information from your Managed care Medicare or Medicare Part C plan; insurance cards for major medical and pharmacy benefits.


Patient Assistance Program

Roche is a pioneer in providing our drugs, free, to patients who lack prescription coverage and the means to pay for the medications they need. In fact, the Roche Patient Assistance Program was one of the first in the industry, setting the standard for assisting patients in need since the early 1960s.

Through the Oncoline Reimbursement Hotline, Roche assists patients in finding potential alternate funding sources of coverage as well as assisting qualified indigent patients in obtaining medication.
